Peaceful Retreat: The cottage at Portloe was a serene oasis where I could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Surrounded by nature, it truly felt like stepping into a blissful fairytale.
Low Ceiling Heights: A few bumps to the head due to the lower ceilings in the cottage, but nothing that couldn't be shrugged off with a good laugh.

We couldn't have asked for a better value for our money. The cottage at Gulls Perch exceeded our expectations with its stunning views, well thought-through amenities, and attention to detail. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything Portloe has to offer, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The cottage was absolutely charming and beautifully decorated. The soothing colors and cozy furnishings created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, and I especially loved the lovely patio area with its breathtaking views of the sea. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was - from the easy access to the main entrance to the comfortable seating areas throughout the property, everything was designed with the comfort and convenience of older guests in mind.
I would have loved to see more organized activities specifically tailored for senior guests. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, it would have been wonderful to have some leisurely group activities or excursions available that catered to our age group.

Located in a stunning seaside town, Gulls Perch offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tastefully decorated cottage is equipped with all essential amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen and cozy bedrooms with crisp bedding. The patio provides breathtaking views, while beach towels and other thoughtful touches add to the overall pampering experience. The warm welcome and attention to detail make this a truly memorable stay.
One minor drawback could be the low ceilings, which may pose a slight inconvenience for taller guests.

The location was off the charts, right in the heart of this rad little town. The cottage itself was sick, with all the cool amenities we needed, like fast wifi and a fully stocked kitchen. The hosts were legends too, leaving us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note. Already planning our next trip!
The only thing that could have made our stay even more lit would have been if the cottage had a party room. We had a blast exploring the town, but it would have been epic to have a dedicated space for us and our friends to crank up the tunes and have a wild night.

We had a wonderful New Year getaway at this coastal retreat. The cottage was spotless and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like a welcome pack and dog treats. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even putting up Christmas decorations for us. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. We also enjoyed the modern facilities and attention to detail in the recently renovated cottage.
The low ceilings were a bit of a challenge for my tall husband, resulting in a few bumped heads. However, this is understandable given the age and character of the property.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful vintage furniture and cozy floral patterns that reminded me of my childhood home. The general areas of the hotel were well-kept and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior, I really appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with wide corridors and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate and feel safe.
I would have loved to have a wider variety of activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Maybe some gentle exercise classes or organized walks to explore the picturesque surroundings.

The cottage was divine, with a stunning view and a perfectly placed patio for sunbathing. It had everything we needed and more, with little extras like fresh milk, tea, coffee, and a delicious chocolate cake on arrival. The bedroom had a sea view and led out onto the patio, with crisp bedding and comfy pillows. The bathroom had a power shower and there were plenty of fluffy towels. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were great extras like solar torches for star gazing and small towels for drying the outside chairs. It was the perfect hideaway in Cornwall.
Felt very much at home, no reason to complain.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gulls Perch in Portloe! The room was cozy and perfectly suited to our needs. It had everything we could ask for, like an electric kettle for our morning cuppa and a dishwasher to make clean-up a breeze. The bathroom was spotless, with a refreshing shower. We felt right at home!
Honestly, the only thing we liked less was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, that's just us.

The cottage was absolutely delightful, with stunning views and a perfect patio area to enjoy the sunshine. The hosts went above and beyond, providing welcome packs for our dogs and even a birthday cake for me. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the well-equipped kitchen to the abundance of comfy pillows and fresh towels. The location was ideal, allowing us to explore the surrounding area easily.
Although the cottage was charming, taller guests may find themselves occasionally bumping their heads due to the low ceilings. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall experience.
